YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan thinks that the export of some goods from Armenia to Azerbaijan will begin in the near future.
At the discussion "The South Caucasus: An Emerging Strategic Hub" at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, he noted that energy security is one of the most important components of potential cooperation, not only at the bilateral but also at the regional level.
He also noted that the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, which Armenia is preparing to implement with its American partners, is also at issue.
"We are talking about multimodal connectivity: railways, roads, as well as energy networks and pipelines." "And here we have our own interest—to diversify Armenia's energy supply and become a transit hub for energy resources coming from Central Asia and Azerbaijan and heading to Europe," Kostanyan explained.
The Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister also pointed to Yerevan's interest in the underwater project in the Black Sea, as Armenia is currently the largest producer of green energy among the three South Caucasus countries.
