Armenia and the United States initialed agreements on the TRIPP project, rare earth metals, and strategic partnership

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio initialed in Yerevan the framework agreement on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the United States on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio initialed in Yerevan the framework agreement on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the United States on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
The parties also signed the Charter on a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States and the Framework Memorandum on Ensuring Supply in the Extraction and Processing of Critical Minerals and Rare Earth Minerals.
Following the ceremony, Mirzoyan stated that Armenia and the United States had taken their strategic partnership to a new level, renaming it a comprehensive strategic partnership.
"The comprehensive strategic relationship between Armenia and the United States is stronger today than ever before." We have entered an unprecedented phase, given the evolving nature of our agenda. All agreements reached today and implemented on the ground are beneficial for Armenia and will open up unprecedented opportunities for our country,” Mirzoyan said.
For his part, Rubio stated that the TRIPP agreement is a path to peace and prosperity in Armenia and the region.
“This agreement is one of the largest steps toward making this historic path a reality,” he noted during a joint statement with Mirzoyan.
The US Secretary of State emphasized that bilateral cooperation is not limited to TRIPP.
“We also signed the Charter on a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which defines the framework for our bilateral relationship and charts a new path that will benefit both Armenians and Americans,” Rubio said.
According to him, the parties are carrying out fundamental work that will form the basis for establishing an economic foundation for joint work between Armenia and the United States.
