YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. The first session of Armenia's 9th National Assembly, formed following the June 7, 2026, elections, will take place at 10:00 a.m. on August 2. This was announced by Central Election Commission Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan at a committee meeting on Tuesday.

The mandates of the newly elected members of parliament were presented at the CEC on Tuesday.

Following the election results, three political forces will be represented in the 9th National Assembly: the ruling Civil Contract party with 64 deputies, and two opposition blocs – Strong Armenia with 29 deputies, and Armenia with 12 deputies.
