YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Andy Burnham on his appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

"I warmly congratulate Andy Burnham on his assumption of office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. I look forward to working closely with you to deepen the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United Kingdom and strengthen the friendship between our peoples," Pashinyan wrote on the social media platform X.

Burnham assumed the post of Prime Minister on July 20 after an audience with King Charles III.
