15 children hospitalized with acute intestinal infection in Gyumri

Cases of acute intestinal infection have been recorded in Gyumri, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Armenian Ministry of Health reports.
YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. Cases of acute intestinal infection have been recorded in Gyumri, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Armenian Ministry of Health reports.
It is noted that 15 children from the Tiramayr Hayastani Children's Support and Development Center have been hospitalized in the infectious diseases department of the Gyumri Medical Center.
According to the National Center, the patients' condition is assessed as satisfactory, with positive dynamics. As of today, no new cases have been registered.
Specialists from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention conducted an epidemiological investigation, as well as sampling and laboratory testing.
Drinking water analysis revealed no abnormalities. Biological testing is ongoing.
