YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. The TRIPP project breaks the cycle of corridors and opens up boundless prospects for Armenia, stated RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

On May 26, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio initialed in Yerevan a framework agreement on strategic cooperation between Armenia and the US under the Trump Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.

Pashinyan called the document historic, noting that it will be signed within one month at the latest. "In the short term, it's historic because the talk of a corridor, which had been circling us for five to six years, has finally been definitively resolved: it has been clearly established that the Republic of Armenia retains its full sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction in all areas of the TRIPP project," he said during the election campaign.

During Rubio's visit to Yerevan, the Charter on a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the United States and a framework memorandum on ensuring supplies in the extraction and processing of critical minerals and rare earth resources between the two countries were also signed.
