YEREVAN, April 21. /ARKA/. The Armenian Administrative Court has suspended the government's efforts to initiate the process of transferring ENA CJSC to state ownership until May 25, Vardan Aloyan, a lawyer for Tashir Capital (ENA owner), told ARKA news agency on Tuesday.
"The negotiation period between the company and the authorities has been set until May 25, and only after that can further steps be taken," Aloyan said.
On April 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that ENA had already been de facto nationalized, and this status would be formalized legally in the future.
According to Pashinyan, the decision to transfer ENA to state control was made, in particular, taking into account the interests of consumers and the accumulated problems in the company's management.
Since July 18, 2025, the interim manager of ENA is Romanos Petrosyan, appointed by the decision of the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia.
