Almost all ministers retained their positions in the new Armenian government, which Nikol Pashinyan re-appointed yesterday.
YEREVAN, August 3. /ARKA/. Almost all ministers retained their positions in the new Armenian government, which Nikol Pashinyan re-appointed yesterday.
The decrees appointing all 12 ministers were published on the Armenian presidential website. Eleven of them retained their positions: David Khudatyan (Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure), Suren Papikyan (Minister of Defense), Hambardzum Matevosyan (Minister of Environment), Arpine Sargsyan (Minister of Internal Affairs), Zhanna Andreasyan (Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports), Ararat Mirzoyan (Minister of Foreign Affairs), Srbuhi Galyan (Minister of Justice), Anahit Avanesyan (Minister of Health), Arsen Torosyan (Minister of Labor and Social Affairs), Gevorg Papoyan (Minister of Economy), and Vahe Hovhannisyan (Minister of Finance).
The only new member of the government is David Tadevosyan, who replaced Mkhitar Hayrapetyan as Minister of High-Tech Industry (he held this position since December 29, 2023).
Both Deputy Prime Ministers, Mher Grigoryan and Tigran Khachatryan, have also been reappointed.
The new government of Armenia was formed following the parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026, and the commencement of the 9th National Assembly on August 2, 2026.
