Nearly 42,400 Armenian citizens entered Russia for work in January-March 2026, TASS reports, citing statistical data.
YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. Nearly 42,400 Armenian citizens entered Russia for work in January-March 2026, TASS reports, citing statistical data.
According to the agency, this figure was approximately 45,500 in the first three months of last year.
A total of 112,741 Armenian citizens entered Russia from January-March 2026. A year earlier, this figure was 125,143.
According to statistics, approximately 50,700 Armenian citizens arrived in Russia on private visits, 3,200 indicated their purpose of entry was study, 1,568 stated tourism, and 1,308 stated business. Another 12,289 people entered as service personnel, and 1,311 Armenian citizens transited through Russia.
Most Armenian citizens arrived in Russia by air—69,761. 39,857 people entered by road, 3,054 people crossed the border on foot, and 68 people traveled by train.
