Manufacturing production in Armenia increased by 7.2% in the first seven months of 2026, reaching 1.13 trillion drams

Manufacturing production in Armenia for January-July 2026 amounted to 1,125,145.9 million drams, an increase of 7.2% compared to January-July 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

YEREVAN, September 8. /ARKA/. Manufacturing production in Armenia for January-July 2026 amounted to 1,125,145.9 million drams, an increase of 7.2% compared to January-July 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

In July, manufacturing output amounted to 178.4 billion drams, representing a 5.9% increase compared to July 2025 and a 9.8% increase compared to June 2026.

The top five sectors in the overall industry structure by share are:

Food production — 30.9% share, up 5.8% year-on-year, with a production volume of 347.4 billion drams.

Basic metal production — 14.8% share, up 33.1%, with a volume of 167.1 billion drams.

Tobacco production — 14.1% share, down 8.9%, with a volume of 158.3 billion drams.

Beverage production — 11.3% share, up 15.4%, with a volume of 127 billion drams.

Other non-metallic mineral product production — 7.7% share, up 0.9%, with a volume of 86.3 billion drams.

These five largest sectors account for approximately four-fifths, or 78.8%, of total manufacturing output. Industrial production in Armenia in January-July 2026 amounted to 1,793,077.8 million drams, an increase of 9.5% compared to the same period last year. ($1 = 363.7 drams)
