Peskov also announced that the relevant Russian and Armenian ministries will work on trade and economic cooperation following the meeting between Putin and Pashinyan in Bishkek.
"During the meeting with Pashinyan in Bishkek—a very important meeting, it was quite substantive—several specific issues related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation were identified. The relevant agencies will be working on these issues," the Kremlin spokesman said.
The date of Pashinyan's visit to Moscow at Putin's invitation has not yet been determined. According to Peskov, the visit will take place before the end of 2026.
Armenia between the EU and the EAEU
The Armenian authorities have declared a course toward rapprochement with the European Union and the transition to European standards, while stating their intention to maintain membership in the EAEU as long as participation in the two integration areas remains compatible.
