In Dilijan, the work of the dairy workshop of the DILI company was suspended after the detection of E. coli in the products, reports the Food Safety Inspection Authority of Armenia.
YEREVAN, June 24. /ARKA/. In Dilijan, the work of the dairy workshop of the DILI company was suspended after the detection of E. coli in the products, reports the Food Safety Inspection Authority of Armenia.
According to the press release, as part of an inspection carried out at DILI LLC (Tavush region, Dilijan), specialists selected samples of manufactured products for laboratory research.
The results of the examination showed that a number of samples did not comply with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union “On the safety of milk and dairy products” in terms of safety and hygiene indicators.
In particular, coliform bacteria were found in samples of Mozzarella, Burrata and Gouda cheeses. In the sour cream sample, in addition to coliform bacteria, discrepancies were detected in terms of the content of yeast and mold fungi.
In addition, samples of peach and strawberry yoghurts did not meet established yeast content requirements.
By the decision of the head of the Inspection Body, the production activities of the dairy shop of the DILI company were suspended until the identified violations were eliminated.
