Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January-March 2026 amounted to 1,442,794.1 million drams at current prices, an increase of 2.1% compared to January-March 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, May 15. /ARKA/. Domestic trade turnover in Armenia in January-March 2026 amounted to 1,442,794.1 million drams at current prices, an increase of 2.1% compared to January-March 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.

In March 2026, this figure amounted to 550,547.0 million drams. Compared to March 2025, trade turnover increased by 0.2%, and compared to February of this year, it increased by 14.1%.

Wholesale trade turnover in the first quarter amounted to 916,841.9 million drams, or 63.5% of the total. Compared to January-March of last year, it decreased by 0.9%. Retail turnover reached 469,883.4 million drams, or 32.6%, an increase of 8.1%. Automobile sales turnover amounted to 56,068.8 million drams, or 3.9%, with an increase of 3.3%.

Within the retail structure, stores accounted for 82.8% of total retail turnover: 389,031.2 million drams, an increase of 7.7%. Consumer goods markets accounted for 3.9%, with a volume of 18,503.2 million drams, an increase of 10.8%. Kiosks accounted for 1.2% of retail turnover, with a volume of 5,777.2 million drams, a decrease of 0.3%.

Agricultural produce markets accounted for 0.9% of the market, with a volume of 4,190.5 million drams, an increase of 5.7%. Other retail outlets accounted for 11.2%, with a volume of 52,381.3 million drams, an increase of 11.3%. ($1 = 368.78 drams).
