YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the authorities do not intend to make a political choice when choosing a partner for the construction of a new nuclear power plant.
"This is an economic issue, and it will be necessary to guarantee the program's duration and profitability," Pashinyan said at a briefing on Thursday.
He added that if lucrative offers were received from the United States, Russia, China, France, or South Korea, Armenia would be ready to work with any of these countries.
"There is no political choice in this regard; there is a purely economic component," the prime minister said.
