Approximately 7.12 billion drams, or approximately $18 million, are planned for the major repairs and construction of several sections of roads in Armenia, announced Armen Simonyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.
YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. Approximately 7.12 billion drams, or approximately $18 million, are planned for the major repairs and construction of several sections of roads in Armenia, announced Armen Simonyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.
"The total length of roads subject to major repairs is 26.2 km. Of these, 4.4 km are interstate roads, 0.2 km are national roads, and 21.6 km are regional or local roads," Simonyan said at a government meeting on Thursday.
According to the Deputy Minister, work is planned in the Vayots Dzor, Gegharkunik, Armavir, Lori, Kotayk, Shirak, and Syunik regions. They are planned to be completed in 2026.
