Speaking to a news conference, he said the main problem is that most of the stalls belonged to the socially vulnerable families.
He said at the order of the Yerevan mayor, the dismantling proves is divided into several steps. First of all, the municipality dismantles the abandoned stalls - those whose owners have left the country.
In the second stage non-operating stalls as well as those erected on sidewalks, hindering citizens’ movement are being dismantled. The deputy mayor added that the municipality will continue dismantling stalls in 2017 as well. --0-
