YEREVAN, August 21. /ARKA/. Liana Manukyan, a member of the opposition Strong Armenia bloc, has been elected Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia.

According to the results of the secret ballot, 57 MPs voted in favor of Manukyan's candidacy, while 39 voted against.

Earlier, the Civil Contract party voted against the candidacy of Hayk Farmanyan from Strong Armenia for the position of Chair of this committee.-0-
