Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Discussed Strengthening Armenian-Ukrainian Relations with Zelenskyy in Kyiv
YEREVAN, August 17. /ARКА/. On August 15, Vahan Kostanyan, the Acting Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, took part in celebrations in Kyiv marking the 975th anniversary of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, as reported by the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service.
During the celebrations, Kostanyan engaged in brief discussions with several notable figures, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UNESCO Director-General Khaled Al-Enani, UN World Tourism Organization Secretary-General Sheikha Al-Nawais, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
In his conversations with both the President of Ukraine and the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Kostanyan extended congratulations from Armenia's leadership on this significant anniversary and highlighted the historical and spiritual importance of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, particularly in relation to the long-standing Armenian-Ukrainian historical and cultural connections.
The participants acknowledged the recent surge in high-level political interactions and the positive trends in economic collaboration, stressing the necessity of maintaining ongoing dialogue to enhance the bilateral Armenian-Ukrainian agenda and further solidify their relationship.-0-
