Armenian and Russian prime ministers to meet today evening

YEREVAN, April 29. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will have a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Yerevan on April 29, the press service of the Armenian government reported.
It said Medvedev is arriving in Armenia to attend a regular meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Intergovernmental Council, slated for April 30.
The government said the Yerevan meeting is expected to focus on the development of integration processes, the strengthening of the Eurasian Economic Union and the formation of common markets.
The Intergovernmental Council ensures the implementation and monitoring of the implementation of the EEU Treaty and the decisions of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
It also gives instructions to the Eurasian Economic Commission and exercises other powers provided for by the treaty. In 2019 the EEU is chaired by Armenia.-- 0--
