YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova signed a joint declaration "On Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Bulgaria."

According to the Armenian government's press service, the Prime Minister welcomed lotova and her delegation's visit to Armenia to participate in the 8th European Political Community Summit. Pashinyan congratulated lotovaon her assumption of office as President of Bulgaria and wished her success.

Pashinyan noted that relations between the two countries are at the high-level political dialogue, and this is enshrined in the document being signed today on the strategic nature of the relationship. He emphasized that bilateral relations between Armenia and Bulgaria have great potential. Pashinyan also thanked Bulgaria for its support of Armenia within the European Union.

lotova thanked the European Political Community for its warm welcome and for hosting the summit. The Bulgarian President emphasized that the ENP summit has achieved tangible results since its inception. lotova also congratulated the Armenian Prime Minister on hosting the Armenia-EU summit.

The two discussed the further development of Armenia-Bulgaria relations and touched upon various issues of regional significance.
