YEREVAN, April 16. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan named the main achievements of the government's program for 2021-2026.
"The first most important achievement, naturally, is peace (with Azerbaijan - ed.). The second is the introduction of a universal health insurance system and improvements in the social sphere. The third is a program to support families with three or more children," Pashinyan said in parliament on Thursday, answering questions from lawmakers about the government's 2025 program progress report.
He added that reforms in the public sector are also important, particularly reforms and the performance appraisal system in the Armed Forces, as well as the introduction of a pilot system of pay based on performance evaluation.
Among the problematic sectors, the prime minister singled out water management and the justice sector. "There are significant problems there; they have accumulated and are not being addressed," Pashinyan noted.
