YEREVAN, September 3. /ARKA/. Diversification must continue to be a strategic direction for Armenia, stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, speaking about export issues.
"Even if all the problems within the Eurasian Economic Union are resolved today, diversification must remain our strategy. We must not deviate from this direction," Pashinyan noted at a government meeting on Thursday.
According to him, tourists, who purchase Armenian products in the country rather than abroad, play a significant role in regulating this issue, which is being addressed by the state and the private sector.
"By this logic, the further development of tourism and its expansion from Yerevan to the regions is very important for solving these problems," Pashinyan said.
