Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced this, adding that the search for new markets continues.
According to Armstat, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries contracted by 15.3% year-on-year in the first half of the year (contributing 6.6% of GDP). According to official statistics, exports from Armenia for the first seven months of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, decreased by 7.9%, amounting to $4,035.7 million. In July, compared to July of last year, a decline of 15.7% was recorded, while over the month there was an increase of 5.3%.
