Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan discussed in Dubai with the management of major retail chains LuLu Group International and Bluemart the possibility of introducing Armenian products to their stores.
YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan discussed in Dubai with the management of major retail chains LuLu Group International and Bluemart the possibility of introducing Armenian products to their stores.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Economy, cooperation with the retail chain, as well as the possibility of introducing Armenian products to its hypermarkets, were discussed at the meeting with Bluemart.
At the meeting with representatives of LuLu Group International, the possibility of introducing Armenian products to the company's hypermarkets and supermarkets was also discussed. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to organize a B2B meeting in Armenia to introduce the chain's representatives to Armenian manufacturers and their products directly in Armenia.
According to Armstat, Armenia's foreign trade turnover with the UAE for the first seven months of 2026 amounted to $356.5 million, a 72.1% decline compared to the same period of 2025. Exports decreased by 73.7% to $325.4 million, while imports from both the producing country and the UAE totaled $31.2 million (a 29.4% decline).
