YEREVAN, April 30. /ARKA/. Armenia plans to implement a four-year state program to support mortgage housing for approximately 2,850 military personnel, announced RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.

"The program is planned to be implemented through mortgage lending. The government will provide 90% of the funding through banks, and the Ministry of Defense will provide 10% through annual funding," Papikyan said at a government meeting on Thursday.

The minister announced that 735 beneficiaries will be provided with housing in 2027, 812 in 2028, 719 in 2029, and approximately 584 in 2030.

"The beneficiaries include contract military personnel and civilian employees, former military personnel, former military personnel with disabilities, and family members of deceased military personnel," Papikyan said.
