On the eve of the New Year prices for food products can rise in Armenia, said Chairman of Consumers Association of Armenia Armen Poghosyan to the newspaper “Zhamanak”.
YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. On the eve of the New Year prices for food products can rise in Armenia, said Chairman of Consumers Association of Armenia Armen Poghosyan to the newspaper “Zhamanak”.
He said that usually inflation by 2-2. % is observed on the eve of the New Year.
“It is difficult to make any forecasts but there will be some changes in prices for food products. It is necessary to be consistent with the elimination of last year’s scenario of food shortages ”, he said.
He also noted that very often products are kept and put up for sale closer to the New Year for selling more expensive which has become like a tradition in Armenia. –0--
