YEREVAN, February 5. /ARKA/. Starting in 2023, the Identity Foundation began documenting Armenia's centuries-old monasteries, churches, and cultural monuments.

Young people, united by the Foundation's vision, traverse rugged roads, mountains, and forests to document historical monuments.

Subsequent filming has documented Arakelots Monastery, Yenokavan Chapel, Samson Bridge, Kayan Fortress, Shativank, Zorats Temple, and other monuments of great cultural value.

The Identity Foundation is one of the winners of the annual grant program of the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation. With the Foundation's support, the necessary equipment for filming and editing was purchased.

The Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation attaches great importance to the preservation, development, and dissemination of Armenian culture. "We have a rich culture, encompassing both tangible and intangible values, which distinguishes the Armenian people from other nations. Thanks to this initiative, our future generations will also have the opportunity to clearly demonstrate the cultural values of the Armenian people," noted Anna Gishyan, Director of the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation.

Gagik Harutyunyan, Founding Director of the Identity Foundation, in turn, noted that the foundation's goal is to create and distribute cultural documentaries.

"Currently, we are focusing on cultural and tangible assets. We select sites based on three criteria: monasteries, fortresses, bridges of great value, and little-known and hard-to-reach places. Before beginning our collaboration with the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation, we acquired certain filming equipment through fundraising," Harutyunyan noted.

According to him, there comes a time when you want to improve the quality of filming, and the need for additional equipment is already felt.

"Our collaboration with the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation has been very successful: we acquired state-of-the-art drones, which allow us to obtain materials of a completely different quality. We also acquired a computer for editing, which we use to process the materials," said Harutyunyan.

The Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation was established by ACBA Bank, the French company Credit Agricole, the National Federation of Credit Agricole, and the Stepan Gishyan family. The foundation's programs are aimed at strengthening Armenian-French ties and improving and enhancing Armenia's socio-economic, scientific, educational, cultural, and medical systems.
