YEREVAN, April 24. /ARKA/. Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the spokesperson for the Armenian Prime Minister, denied information circulating on the social media platform X about an alleged phone call between Nikol Pashinyan and US President Donald Trump.
"A number of X accounts are spreading deliberately false and manipulative information claiming that US President Donald Trump posted on the Truth Social platform, reporting a phone call with the Armenian Prime Minister. Such a conversation never took place, and no discussions took place between Pashinyan and Trump," Baghdasaryan wrote on her Facebook page.
She assessed that this case contains signs of foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI), given the nature of the dissemination of the messages—through several accounts with identical or interrelated wording and citing unverified sources.
She called on the media and social media users to refrain from disseminating unverified information, especially on issues of national security, foreign policy, and regional stability.
