All countries in the region will benefit from the implementation of the TRIPP project: Pashinyan
YEREVAN, September 1. /ARKA/. The implementation of the TRIPP project will open up new transport opportunities and benefit all countries in the region, stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"We are currently working with Azerbaijan and Turkey to open up interstate communications, including through the implementation of the TRIPP project, practical work on which will begin on the ground in the coming months," Pashinyan said, speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO+) summit in Bishkek on Tuesday.

According to him, the project will create new transport opportunities both in the East-West direction—from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean—and in the South-North direction, linking the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.

Pashinyan noted that, in addition to deepening friendly relations with Iran and Georgia, Armenia is moving towards building interstate relations with two other neighbors—Azerbaijan and Turkey.

According to the head of government, this process is becoming more concrete thanks to the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, 2025, with the support and participation of US President Donald Trump.
