Construction work on the TRIPP project could likely begin in the spring of 2027, stated Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan.
YEREVAN, September 1. /ARKA/. Construction work on the TRIPP project could likely begin in the spring of 2027, stated Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan.
"When we talk about TRIPP, we all subconsciously imagine a railway. However, TRIPP is a whole complex of infrastructure," Mirzoyan noted in an interview with Public Television.
He reported that negotiations on two documents related to the TRIPP project are nearing completion.
"They will be finalized soon. These include the charter of the TRIPP Development Company, shareholder approval, and so on. Once all of this is completed, we can say that the documentation phase is complete," Mirzoyan said.
According to him, the necessary professional studies are being conducted on-site: one stage has already been completed, and the second is ongoing.
"All work is proceeding at an accelerated pace. This is all in our interests, as well as those of the United States, Azerbaijan, other interested countries, our neighbors—in short, from Lisbon to Beijing," Mirzoyan noted.
