Manufacturing sector in Armenia experienced decline of 1.9% over first 11 months, totaling 1.98 trillion drams
YEREVAN, January 15. /ARKA/. The manufacturing sector's output in Armenia for the period of January to November 2025 reached 1,981,540.4 million drams, reflecting a 1.9% drop compared to the same period in 2024, as reported by the Statistical Committee.
Additionally, the industrial output for November was recorded at 313,072.0 million drams, marking a 36.2% increase from November 2024 and a 14.4% rise from October 2025.
Food production represented the largest portion of the overall structure for the first 11 months of 2025, making up 32%. This sector saw a 6.9% increase compared to the first 11 months of 2024, generating goods valued at 633,334.1 million drams.
The top three sectors also included basic metals production, which held a 19.1% share, experienced a 28.2% decline, and amounted to 377,951.5 million drams. Tobacco production was also among the leading sectors, with a 13.7% share, a 42% increase, and a total volume of 270,375.7 million drams.
The total volume of industrial output in Armenia for January-November 2025 was 2,810,197.1 million drams (at current prices), reflecting a 0.5% increase compared to January-November 2024. ($1 - 379.42 drams).-0-
