Electricity production in Armenia increased by 7.7% from January to May 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. Electricity production in Armenia increased by 7.7% from January to May 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, according to the Statistical Committee.

Total electricity generation during the reporting period amounted to 3,994.0 million kWh.

In May, compared to May of the previous year, production increased by 13.3%, while compared to April of the same year, a decline of 2.3% was recorded.

Armenia's foreign trade turnover for January-May decreased by 0.1%, amounting to $7.9 billion
