YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced the growth of industry and a focus on innovative development.

“The industry of Armenia has shown stable growth in recent years. In 2025, the growth in industrial output compared to 2024 was 4.7%, and in the four months of this year - 13% compared to the same period last year. The manufacturing industry has doubled over the past 9 years,” Pashinyan noted, speaking at a plenary session on the topic “Industry 360. Manufacturing without borders,” which takes place as part of the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom-2026” in Yekaterinburg.

According to the Prime Minister, one of the key directions of the industrial policy of the Republic of Armenia is the formation of knowledge-intensive industries that ensure technological development by optimizing digitalization processes, introducing artificial intelligence technologies and data analysis.

“Our innovative development strategy will ensure sustainable growth, taking into account integration into global technological trends, in order to take its rightful place on the global map of information technology and high-tech industry. Large-scale investments in the recent period indicate a growing perception of our country as a reliable partner with a long-term, strategic vision in the field of high technology,” Pashinyan said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that industry is one of the driving forces, including in the Eurasian Economic Union.

“The launch of a mechanism for financial assistance for cooperation projects has become an important practical tool in the implementation of integration goals. This mechanism helps to increase the competitiveness of industry in the member states, creating favorable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation. Industrial enterprises of Armenia are already participants in a number of joint projects with our partners in the EAEU,” Pashinyan said.
