Investments of EBRD in Armenia to total €80 million in 2011

Investments of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Armenia’s economy will amount to €80 million in 2011, Valeriu Razlog, head of the EBRD office in Yerevan, said Thursday at the ceremony of signing a $6-million loan agreement with Armeconombank.

YEREVAN, December 22. /ARKA/. Investments of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Armenia’s economy will amount to €80 million in 2011, Valeriu Razlog, head of the EBRD office in Yerevan, said Thursday at the ceremony of signing a $6-million loan agreement with Armeconombank. 

There are some projects to be signed before the end of this year, he said. 

Razlog also said that the EBRD has invested more than €470 million since it started its activity in Armenia in 1992. 
He said that these investments were made to all the segments of the economy, including the banking sector. 

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is one of the largest investors in Armenia. About 92% of its investments target the private sector.-0---
