YEREVAN, April 13. /ARKA/. The Armenian government at a Thursday meeting decided to provide the pharmaceutical company Hai Plast with customs payments benefits in connection with the import of technological equipment and raw materials.
Economic development and investment minister Suren Karayan noted during the meeting that the company is engaged in the production of medical plaster.
"The company plans to invest $20,000 (10 million drams), which will be used to expand production, and although the investment is small and only two new jobs will be created, the government attaches importance to the project as a support to Syrian Armenians,’ Karayan said.
The minister also said that the company plans to increase production volumes to 2-2.5 million drams. ($ 1 - 486.59 drams). -0-
