YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. Armenian citizens have received calls and messages from foreign phone numbers and email addresses with false information about bombs planted at some polling stations, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs police reported.

"As a result of measures taken by law enforcement agencies, it has been established that these reports are untrue," the ministry noted.

The statement added that such actions could be considered attempts at hybrid influence and informational and psychological pressure aimed at disrupting the normal course of the electoral process, spreading anxiety and mistrust in society, and creating additional burdens on government agencies.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs police and the law enforcement system are fully in control of the situation. We call on citizens not to fall for misinformation, not to spread unverified information, and to immediately inform law enforcement agencies if they receive such reports,” the police noted.
