YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. Vahagn Hovakimyan, head of Armenia's Central Election Commission, presented the results of electronic voting in the parliamentary elections.

"The number of citizens eligible to vote electronically was 537, of whom 410 participated, with 22 invalid ballots," he reported.

Meritocratic Party of Armenia - 5;

Reformist New Force Party - 3;

Wings of Unity Party - 13;

Prosperous Armenia Party - 5;

Armenia Bloc of Parties - 8;

The Central Election Commission members certified the protocol with their signatures and seal.

Elections

On June 7, regular elections to the National Assembly of the 9th convocation were held in Armenia at 2,005 polling stations.

According to the Central Election Commission, 2,503,974 people are included in the voter register of Armenia. As of 5:00 PM, voter turnout was 48.92%.
There is no minimum turnout threshold for parliamentary elections. This means that the elections are considered valid regardless of the number of citizens who participated in the vote.

Parties and blocs that have overcome the legal threshold are eligible to participate in the distribution of seats in the elections to the National Assembly of Armenia: 4% for parties, 8% for blocs consisting of two parties, and 10% for blocs of three or more parties.

Eighteen political forces – two blocs and 16 parties – are participating in the elections: the Reformist Party; the "I am against everyone" democratic party; the "Strong Armenia" bloc; the Meritocratic Party of Armenia; the "New Force" reformist party; the "Wings of Unity" party; the "Prosperous Armenia" party; the pan-Armenian "National Democratic Pole" party; the "Kochari - National Revival and Awakening of the Nation" party; the "Armenian National Congress" party; Republic Party; Christian Democratic Party; Democratic Union Party; Democracy, Law, Order (DLO) Party; Civil Contract Party; Armenia Bloc of Parties; In the Name of the Republic – Defenders of Democracy Party; Bright Armenia Party.
