Armenian president replaces two ambassadors

Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree to recall Armen Melkonyan from the position of the country's ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic, and the ambassador of Armenia to the League of Arab States.
YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree to recall Armen Melkonyan from the position of the country's ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic, and the ambassador of Armenia to the League of Arab States.
According to another presidential decree, Karen Grigoryan was appointed ambassador to Egypt with residence in Cairo.
Earlier, Sarkissian's press service reported that the president recalled Vladimir Badalyan from the position of ambassador to Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. He was replaced by Garnik Badalyan, who was appointed as new ambassador of Armenia to Turkmenistan (residence in Ashgabat). --0--
