YEREVAN, May 21. /ARKA/. The Armenian Ministry of Defense has denied reports of an alleged surrender of the Armenian Armed Forces' position in the Jermuk region.

According to RA Ministry of Defense Press Secretary Aram Torosyan, in a video previously disseminated by a member of the Strong Armenia party, a citizen, whose identity has not yet been established, falsely claims that an "army position" of the Armenian Armed Forces had recently been "surrendered" in the Jermuk region.

"We inform you that this is disinformation," Torosyan wrote on his Telegram channel.

He also called on law enforcement agencies to examine the video and the information contained therein for a legal assessment.
