The annual "Eagle Partner 2026" exercises will be held from June 17 to 25 in Armenia as part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported.

YEREVAN, June 16. /ARKA/. The annual "Eagle Partner 2026" exercises will be held from June 17 to 25 in Armenia as part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported.

"Participating in the exercises will be servicemen from the peacekeeping brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces (250 personnel), the US Army in Europe and Africa, as well as the Kansas National Guard (58 personnel), the French Armed Forces (24 personnel), and the Greek Armed Forces (11 personnel)," the statement noted.

The exercises will focus on practicing the preparation and execution of peacekeeping tasks.

The "Eagle Partner 2026" exercise aims to enhance the level of interaction and interoperability between units participating in international peacekeeping missions, exchange best practices in command and control and tactical communications, and strengthen the preparedness of the RA Armed Forces peacekeeping unit.

In preparation for peacekeeping missions, units preparing for participation in international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar joint exercises and training in partner countries.
