YEREVAN, June 26, /ARKA/. Armenian investigators are clarifying the circumstances in which a conscript serviceman received a fatal gunshot today.

According to the Investigative Committee, Hayk Alaverdyan, an Armenian army conscript serviceman, shot himself in the area of chin at about 1.30 pm today.

It said a criminal case has been launched under part 1 of Article 110 (forced suicide) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. The investigation is underway. -0-
