YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. Russian businesses significantly expanded their international travel interests in early 2026: the number of international business trips increased by 16%.
Analysts at the OneTwoTrip for Business service studied corporate air travel bookings from January 1 to April 30 and recorded not only a quantitative increase but also a qualitative transformation in business travel.
The geographic focus is confidently shifting toward Asia and the CIS countries. South Korea has emerged as the clear leader in popularity, with flights to the country nearly tripling in frequency—demand has jumped by 181%. Egypt (+136%), Georgia (+83%), Tajikistan (+71%), and Kyrgyzstan (+70%) are also showing impressive growth. Russian companies are actively developing the markets of Vietnam (+61%), Thailand (+38%) and China (+30%), while not forgetting their traditional ties with Germany, where demand for trips increased by 35%, and Armenia (+31%).
