Armenian president receives Russian minister of industry and trade

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Russian minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov who has arrived to Armenia to participate at the 4th Anticontrafact -2016 international conference, Sargsyan’s press office said.
YEREVAN, November 22, /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Russian minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov who has arrived to Armenia to participate at the 4th Anticontrafact -2016 international conference, Sargsyan’s press office said.
It quoted the President as stressing the importance of the event which is organized under the title Counteraction to the Illegal Turnover of the Goods on the Territory of Eurasian Economic Union (EEU): Reality and Prospects.
Serzh Sargsyan viewed it as important and useful event and underscored that the Conference presents an excellent platform for the dialogue among the authorities, societies, academic circles and business communities of the EEU member states.
“The fight against the illegal turnover of the industrial goods is a part of a huge work which we are carrying out in our countries to improve the business climate. Issues of cooperation in the area of industry and trade constitute an important element of the Armenian-Russian interstate agenda, thus your visit is also important from that point of view, and we will be glad to discuss the potential and opportunities for the development of our bilateral relations in that area,” said the President of Armenia at the meeting.
Minister Denis Manturov noted that the issues discussed in the framework of the Conference and proposed solutions are important for any country, including the economies of developed countries and expressed gratitude for hosting the 4th International Conference in Armenia at the high level.
The parties discussed also issues related to the strengthening the bilateral trade and economic relations and deepening of cooperation. -0-
