YEREVAN, July 23. /ARKA/. The process of Armenia obtaining market economy status was discussed by RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and US Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia David Allen.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Economy, the parties confirmed that economic cooperation between Armenia and the United States is developing dynamically and noted the positive progress achieved recently.
Papoyan expressed confidence that the existing effective cooperation will contribute to the consistent advancement of this process and the further development of the Armenian-American economic agenda.
Edward Eichler, Chief of the Economic and Commercial Section of the US Embassy, also participated in the meeting.
