Government of Armenia approved on Thursday the concept of development of food security system in the country.

YEREVAN, November 17. /ARKA/. Government of Armenia approved on Thursday the concept of development of food security system in the country.

In the government meeting Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan said that the document contains the main directions of the system development taking into account the best international practices, particularly the practice of EU countries.

It is expected that by introduction of realistic food safety system, pre-conditions for smoothening the negative balance in foreign trade turnover of food raw-material and grown products will be defined. --0--
