The National Assembly of Armenia adopted, in its second reading and as a whole, a package of bills amending the Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government" and related laws, which will result in the renaming of three ministries.
YEREVAN, August 28. /ARKA/. The National Assembly of Armenia adopted, in its second reading and as a whole, a package of bills amending the Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government" and related laws, which will result in the renaming of three ministries.
The bill received 64 votes in favor, 26 votes against, and 0 abstentions.
The Armenian government submitted to parliament a draft law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government," which proposed changing the names of three ministries.
Specifically, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry was renamed the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs was renamed the Ministry of Labor and Welfare, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was renamed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
