YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party and president of the Tashir Group holding company, announced that he does not intend to return to Russia regardless of the results of the parliamentary elections and plans to continue working in Armenia.

Responding to journalists' questions about whether he would return to Russia if his political party loses the elections, Karapetyan stated: "I will not go back anywhere."

"I will work in Armenia for 10 years. Don't worry, I have a lot of work. We must unite our people, our country, and the Diaspora," Karapetyan said.

Speaking about possible scenarios for a change of power in the country, he noted that the decision depends solely on the citizens of Armenia, but he will speak more specifically about this tomorrow.

"Whatever the Armenian people decide, so it will be." "If (Prime Minister - ed.) Nikol Pashinyan is elected, although the likelihood of this is close to zero, and the Armenian people accept this, then they will accept it," Karapetyan stated.

He also commented on the restrictions on exports from Armenia to Russia, emphasizing that the interests of the Armenian people must remain a priority.

"I do not accept any step by any country that harms the Armenian people. The Russians have their own interests in Armenia; they are pursuing their own policies," Karapetyan said.

He also expressed skepticism about redirecting Armenian exports to EU countries, noting that this is possible only in small quantities.
