YEREVAN, April 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Kaja Kallas, Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, discussed preparations for the Armenia-EU Summit in Yerevan and partnership development.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place on Tuesday in Brussels.

"The interlocutors discussed the implementation of the Armenia-EU strategic partnership agenda. Particular attention was paid to preparations for the Armenia-EU Summit, which will be held in Yerevan in May," the Foreign Ministry stated.

Mirzoyan and Kallas emphasized the importance of implementing programs aimed at achieving tangible results for the citizens of Armenia.

During the meeting, initiatives to strengthen democratic resilience were discussed. The need to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of existing mechanisms for supporting democratic processes was emphasized.

Mirzoyan and Kallas also emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in economic and transport connectivity, as well as energy.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.-0-
