YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he will not attend Victory Day events in Moscow on May 9.

"In April, during my visit to the Russian Federation, I informed President Vladimir Putin that I would not be able to participate in the May 9 events due to election campaigning. We have already announced that we will participate in the campaign," Pashinyan said at a briefing on Thursday.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin stated that invitations to the May 9 parade in Moscow had been sent to all friendly countries, including the Armenian Prime Minister.
