YEREVAN, August 25. /ARKA/. Representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan discussed the possibility of importing and exporting electricity between the two countries, according to the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

The working meeting took place on August 25 in the city of Lachin.

Representatives of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and the Electricity System Operator company participated on the Armenian side, while the Ministry of Energy and Azerenergy company participated on the Azerbaijani side.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of importing and exporting electricity between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as possible options for connecting the two countries' energy infrastructure at the state border.
